In My He-ead... In my he-e-e-ead.
My life exists with a constant soundtrack. I am often humming a long forgotten tune, a line from a movie (usually Disney) or reliving my favourite scenes from old TV shows. Find here my current moods as well as some of the songs which helped me build the stories I tell. I encourage you to listen too, it might just change your day.
Other Activities I'm Involved In
Recently, my youngest daughter, Ashie, and I had an opportunity to film a promotional video for Malpa and IGPTN.
The program is named Young Doctors For Life and is an initiative to not only encourage young mob to strive for careers in medicine but maybe help address a growing concern for health professionals on country. Here are the two videos released in February. (There may even a sneak peek at some rusty radiology skills in there too!)
The Indigenous General Practice Trainee Network (IGPTN) is a network for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander GP trainees to provide professional and cultural support to one another.
Malpa is an organisation dedicated to increasing indigenous numbers into areas like the medical field. They run programs aimed at young people to give them an avenue of knowledge and curosity. YD and I did a five hour trek to Albury to shoot with GP Nelli, my cousin and one major inspiration in my life.
