I think I'm finally reaching the final stretch with Jase's story. I very much must acknowledge my confidant and co-conspirator (I was the one conspiring, she just followed loyally xx) Ros. She has agreed to look over my final draft for the first chapter.
Aptly titled, Camera One, it is based on the song by Josh Joplin. It is a brief overview of the beginning of our relationship with a fair few side characters introduced along the way. It makes me laugh on occasion, but I find myself highly amusing so sometimes you need an outside perspective to see if you are as funny as you think you are.
The idea is you are panning in on my life, the camera rolls into early 2000s me as I try and navigate my early twenties. It will reveal some parts of me I have managed to keep hidden but for the most part, I hope it is forgivable enough you don't want to stop loving Jase with me.
The excitement I am feeling at the nearing of the end of this story is matched only by the melancholy of Jase not being here to share it with me.
I am reminded constantly by my screen saver, the absense he has taken in this house but at the same time, still offers me the courage to move forward.
I can't wait to share this with you all. I hope you come along for the final ride with me!
