Loving Jase
All relationships have their challenges. I was only 29 when the battle of my life began. I was pregnant with our first child after seven years with no success. Instead of the fulfillment of navigating my first pregnancy, the focus fell to my fiance, who at only 31, was fighting sepsis after being on dialysis for only four years. An average lifespan on dialysis is eight years so when Jase had a heart attack while being worked up for heart surgery, I had to make a decision.
What followed was a rollercoaster of ups and downs over the short time frame of ten months.
This is Sal and Jase's story. Their very human story.
