This is Jupiter
How can you not marvel at the beauty of space and feel nothing but awe and inspiration. This was the most recent picture taken by Juno of the surface of Jupiter. You can feel the magnificance through the lens, the almost palpable power of our Solar System's giant.
Jupiter, the Roman God of Thunder and Sky was one of the Gods considered among the Roman Religion, the focal religion of Italy until the introduction of Christianity in 4CE. To me, it was always a planet. Memories of school projects which included Pluto as a planet of our system, often had Jupiter the shade of Red. This picture displays some rustic browns but the blue is the defining element here. It's dust and swirling movement depict how little we know about anything. This is proof to not be complacent in our place, to constantly strive to understand more in as many things as we can. It makes life so much easier; wonder replaces fear, awe instead of complacency.
My favourite part of my personality is my refusal for adulthood to completely swallow me up. My child-like impressions keep me young and vibrant and happy when everything else could be knocking me down a peg. I have adult concerns, don't get me wrong, but I don't let them rule my life. It'll work out, I'll figure it out or someone will come along and guide me in the right direction. It opens doors constantly to opportunity, offers experiences I would never had considered suitable for.
I am an explorer of my surrounds. I inhale, absorb and concentrate the energies around me into my living experience. If it is someone else's experiences or memories of my past versions, the curiosity remains the same. I will endevour to consume information and knowledge to amast a grand collection of antiquities. Some I will turn into stories, others will be tales I regale as my aging years catch up with my dementia riddled neurons.
As long as you laugh and are entertained by my antics, I know I have done my job.
